This past Tuesday night I took the opportunity to worship with about 6,000 other people at the Independence Center in Independence Missouri. Chris Tomlin was in concert. It was an awesome concert filled with the love of God and worship. Chris is a worship leader. The name of the tour comes from Romans 8:28 – If God is for us, who can be against us.
Think about that, if God is for us, who can be against us. We are coming to the time we remember, we celebrate Easter. The day in which God showed us that he is indeed FOR US. Knowing that God is for us, there’s nothing we can’t do. There’s nothing that can be against us when God is in our corner.
Another part of the concert was when a gentlemen Louie Giglio shared about how great is our God. I have ordered this DVD so I can share it with those at a Sunday Evening Worship Service. Louie shared with us information about two stars, I don’t remember all the numbers, but stars that are very far away from us. He shared from Psalm 27 when it talks about the heavens and the earth worshipping God. He shared the sounds that we have gathered that these stars make, and they are singing! He then shared songs from nature, from the whales. He put all these sounds together, from the heavens and from the earth and we heard a symphony to God.
We are all a part of that symphony. We can sing with our voices, with our actions, with our “beings” to God, or we can choose not to. I hope as we continue to Easter we will all choose to be a part of the symphony knowing that God is for us, and nothing can be against us.
Easter is coming!!!!
